It is too often demonstrated that there is so much Catholic leadership and laity illiteracy on the scriptures that will have doctrine based on a scripture verse out of context with the surrounding verses. All scriptures have supporting scriptures to always explain the meaning. There are countless Double Occurrences and Patterns that God uses in the Scriptures to guard against wrong conclusions, misinterpretations, authentication, and prove that the author is from outside of all Time Domains.
| Roman Catholic Teaching | Analysis | |
| 1 | Mary is the Queen of Heaven | FALSE.
(a) There is no Queen of Heaven.
Clothed with the Sun and Moon
reference by Catholics is referring to Israel. Scripture
interprets scripture. (b) Mary has no biological link with Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit placed the embryo of Jesus Christ in her womb. |
| 2 | Repeated and regular Mass and Eucharist required for Salvation | FALSE. This is ridiculousness as the Crucifixion Event was once and final. Celebrating a worship ceremony and a Eucharist is a wonderful idea when understanding the significance only! |
| 3 | Only Roman Catholics will go to Heaven because only
Catholics eat the Eucharist and sip from a Chalice Catholic Doctrine: Is the Eucharist necessary for salvation? From Catholic website |
FALSE. Catholic doctrine base this incorrectly on John 6:53-56 which is right after Jesus Christ feeds the 5,000 with a few loafs of bread and dried fish. For a beginning understanding, read the topic on the Salvation Process and then Eat This Bread Topic. There are three scriptures in the Old Testament directing us to not drink blood so there is a specific understanding on what the Eucharist and Wine represent. |
| 4 | Membership to Roman Catholic Church Required for Salvation | FALSE: Salvation requires asking for Salvation is a prayer to Jesus Christ with heartfelt recognition. |
| 5 | Infant water baptism is required for a baby in case of death so that the baby will go to Heaven | FALSE: Water Baptism is not required for Salvation for anyone. Additionally, baby and many other people are protected by the Age of Accountability. |
| 6 | Catholic Church Apologizes for many mistakes since the beginning that are absolutely appallingly against the scriptures | TRUE: Pope John Paul
apologized for 2,000 Years of sexism, racism, hatred of Jews, and
violence in defense of Catholic Faith.
Note the Roman Catholic Church
was founded 313 AD (NOT at
Pentecost). https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2000-mar-13-mn-8338-story.html If link is missing, click here. For more see topic on is "Pope Scripturally Correct, No!" |
| 7 | Catholic use of religious icons and pictures use for worshipped are scriptural correct | FALSE: Read the topic on Pictures or Images of Jesus Christ |
| 8 | A person canonized as a saint is already in heaven and is not required to go Purgatory for more cleansing of sins. Others may need to go to Purgatory and can have prayers made for release. | FALSE: Purgatory is blasphemy against God! There is no place in the scriptures that nullifies and replaces the finished work of the payments for sins at the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The crucifixion is the greatest prophecy in history, given the exact day it would happen 173,880 days in advance! Jesus Christ's crucifixion occurred on Wednesday, 5-April-0032 AD. A saint in the scriptures is someone that has Salvation and does not require suffering to obtain entrance into Heaven. See the topic on Rewards in Heaven to understand that our actions in life determine only our rewards. |
Can Roman Catholics be Born-Again and have a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ despite incorrect teachings and wrong beliefs. This author would state absolutely "yes" that a Roman Catholic can receive Salvation through the Holy Spirit at a Roman Catholic Mass or Event as God's Word never goes out void as read in Isaiah 55:10-12. Additional points:
| Isaiah 55:10-12 | 10 For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands. |
