Some Biblical Scholars have stated that since the time that God revealed His plans of the future end times through the many Books in the Bible, such as Daniel and John in the Book of Revelation, Lucifer has had to have selected men ready, throughout history, to take the role of the Antichrist. Each man, after their death, can be called a model of the next and last Antichrist.
The Antichrist is actually a counterfeit trinity, which tries to emulate the Triune God of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Lucifer, according to the scriptures, will have the following roles set up:
Lucifer's purpose has always been:
During that period of time, Lucifer's primary purpose is to eliminate all Jewish people from the earth, which would then prevent Jesus Christ from coming back to Earth. Many Christians do not know that a prerequisite for Jesus Christ's Second Coming is for Israel as a nation and entity to recognize their Savior. If Lucifer could kill all the Jewish people, then this cannot happen, which is why in history there have been so many genocide attempts against the Jewish People.
Since there is no prophecy for the date of the start of the Tribulation Period, this is one reason of many that Lucifer has always had men selected to attempt to stop all of God's plans, with the specific ones dealing with Israel as a nation.
Many Christians are not aware of the incredible prophecy of the exact day, in the Book of Daniel, when the Messiah would be executed in the 69 Weeks Prophecy. This was beautifully detailed in the book written by Sir Robert Anderson called "The Coming Prince" which was published in 1894. This failure of Israel as a nation is why Jesus Christ held Israel accountable to recognize His Mission that Isaiah chapter 53 and Daniel chapter 9 had foretold. But the wonderful great news is God still has prophecies to still happen for Israel that will be accomplished!
The exact day of Savior who would be the "Lamb executed" was not the end of God's love for Israel and all of us. Israel will eventually recognize their Savior who went through the Crucifixion.

God did not give a prophecy for the date of the first of the two Second Comings of Jesus Christ, but we know from the scriptures the first of the two Second Comings of Jesus Christ occurs before the 70th week of Daniel starts. The 70th week of Daniel is a seven-year period that contains:

During the reign of the Antichrist, Lucifer's false trinity will attempt to subdue the entire world, but this will never be accomplished. Instead, the Antichrist dominion is limited to the area of the ancient Roman Empire's areas along with other minor areas of the world. There will be a sanctuary, set up by God for an escaping Israel in Jordan, and then there are other areas that are against the Antichrist such as the Kings of the East.
There are some Biblical Scholars that have stated the title, Antichrist given to the false trinity leader, who rises to power during the last three and half years of the Tribulation Period is not the best title. The term of Antichrist really means "Instead of Christ" or "Apposed to Christ." There are many more accurate titles such as "Son of Perdition" which also was described of Judas Iscariot. Other Biblical Scholars like Chuck Missler have stated another title could be "Mr. Big Mouth" because of the blasphemies spoken against God. When Jesus Christ was in front of Pontius Pilate, and Pilate gave the audience a choice to choose the freedom of Jesus Christ or Barabbas, Matthew 27:15-22, most of the people present yelled Barabbas' name. Barabbas means "son of the father" which is analogous in name only to one of titles of Jesus Christ. Note that when Jesus Christ took our place on the Cross and other places indicating the first mission of the Messiah that took on the sins of history, then Jesus Christ's title was Son of Man.
| The Tribulation Period's Antichrist is going to be chosen instead of Jesus Christ by the unsaved world just like before where Barabbas instead of Jesus Christ. Just as the first-time the Chief Priests that rejected Jesus Christ, there will be false religious leaders persuading everyone to believe in the Antichrist instead of Jesus Christ, but the false religious leaders that include the False Prophet, will not persuade everyone. Those that reject Jesus Christ will take the Mark of the Beast on themselves that permanently prevents them from Salvation and believing the Great Lie. |
Many Biblical Scholars, including this author as evidenced by scriptures, believe there will be millions upon millions of people saved during the Tribulation Period, to God's Glory, but most if not, all will pay with their lives for accepting Jesus Christ during that period. Unlike any other time in history of the Earth's people, there is not going to be a neutral ground to not accept or reject God as not choose Jesus Christ at that time means rejecting Jesus Christ and given over to the Great Lie and Mark of the Beast.
Another fascinating aspect is the prophecy of Revelation 1:7, that every eye that participated in the wrongful acts dealing up and including the crucifixion will see Jesus Christ when He comes back at the second of the Second Comings events, which is also proof of the multidimensional aspects of all of God's Creations.

As stated, Lucifer has always had people throughout the history of world, that can be called Antichrist types. In our recent modern history, we all could point to Adolph Hitler, discussed in the Good People Argument, as a Antichrist type because of his attempt to kill all the Jewish people that could be found.
Lucifer has always had to have "his man" to take the last role of the Antichrist, ready because Lucifer is not permitted to know the period of time when God takes His Church in the Rapture which is a prerequisite before the 70th Week of Daniel, that contains the Tribulation Period, can begin. If Lucifer can stop Israel from recognizing their Savior, which is absolutely not going to happen, then Lucifer can stop:
In the last three and one half years of the 70th week of Daniel the beast that is revealed, consisting of:
will set up a counterfeit trinity to "match" the triune true God. What we do know, of the beast of Revelation, is he asserts himself to be god.
When this occurs, it is called the Abomination of Desolation predicted in the Book of Daniel, which has occurred once before in history as a foreshadowing of the future. The Antichrist will walk into the Holy of Holies in the Temple in Jerusalem and proclaim himself to be god and setup something that resembles himself that can speak all the world's languages which many Biblical Scholars since the 1960s believe will be a type of Artificial Intelligence. The scriptures Thessalonians 2:3-4 and Daniel 9:36-37 regarding this, amongst others, is how we know there will be a future Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

Daniel 11:36-37 Three areas of idolatry |

In history, the Abomination that causes desolation occurred one time before when Antiochus IV Epiphanies, the 8th ruler of the Seleucid empire, slaughtered a pig on the Alter in the Temple of Jerusalem in 168 BC. He also did many other evil things against the Jews that were part of his empire. The slaughtering of the pig, started the Maccabaean revolt that led to Israel removing the empire from the lands of Israel.
There are some Biblical Scholars who state that the Emperor of Rome, Nero, ordered a pig to be also killed on the alter after Jerusalem is conquered in 70AD but Nero commits suicide before Jerusalem is conquered so it never happens. These same Biblical Scholars state that God stopped this from happening because it would have been a violation of the predictions in the Book of Daniel from happening at the correct time.
There are two relevant scripture references to the appearance of the Antichrist which are given in the Books of Zechariah and Revelation. We learn from these scripture references that the Antichrist will receive a wound that appears to be unto death. Biblical Scholars have argued whether or not the Antichrist actually dies and is resurrected. It doesn't matter if it is real or not, as it deceives many.

Regarding the nationality of the Antichrist, he comes from the Roman Empire rebuilt from information contained in the Book of Daniel where the reader should also recall the Roman Empire was Europe and parts of the Middle East including a place known as Assyria and parts of northern Africa.
From Isaiah 10:5-6, Isaiah 14:25 and Micah 5:5 it appears to indicate the Antichrist will be Assyrian which is a region that was part of the Babylonians and nearby Persians. Additionally, this was the same location of first empire, which was ruled by Nimrod (Genesis 10:8 - 11). Nimrod was the world's first type of Antichrist. Nimrod means "I will rebel" and was a hunter of men. Because of the Assyrian lineage linked with the area of Nimrod, it is another of countless double patterns in the scriptures that would have been impossible for over forty authors of the sixty-six books to have collaborated which shows the true author is God the Holy Spirit.

Many Biblical Scholars believe that possibly the Antichrist will be half Jewish and/or the False Prophet will be Jewish or Muslim which is based on scriptures that indicate the Antichrist will be able to unify religions of the world as prophesized to bring upon the first three and one half years of peace in the 70th Week of Daniel before the Tribulation Period begins.

The Antichrist is a remarkable military leader where he initially conquers countries through false peace treaties.

The Antichrist primary goal is to kill all Jewish people or get Jewish people to accept the Mark of the Best. If all Jewish People on Earth can be murdered, then two of the primary Purposes of Tribulation Period cannot happen, which would mean the Tribulation Period would be without end.

The important descriptive points:
An interesting topic, that is related to this deception of the Antichrist, is the belief by some people already that the Earth is a prison planet of endless reincarnation that only some are capable of escaping. This author believes this is a possibility of several delusions that will be the consequences of the Great Lie that will happen in the Tribulation Period for those that take on the Mark of the Beast.
During the process of the Antichrist's rise to power before the 70th Week of Daniel time period, the Antichrist will start to secure power in all the areas of the old Roman Empire, where a primary concern will be the military power of Israel. He will achieve this by peace treaties according to the scriptures.

Using rounded numbers of the population of Israel as of 2021, the following chart lists the theatrical numbers of those killed by the Antichrist and those who survive either in Jordan (Petra) or somewhere else on the Earth. The 144,000 Jewish Evangelists are marked by God so they cannot be harmed.

Is it possible and conjecture that Lucifer has a future plan to have his antichrist have a resemblance to depictions of Jesus Christ for the purpose of acceptance and deception? It is easier to deceive when perceptions from appearance convey assertions. As an example, we would be more likely to trust a banker if the banker dresses and acts what we think a banker should look and act like.
When the antichrist proclaims that he is god, then he most likely will try to dress and act like one. We do know from scripture is he is a man of "great speech and blasphemies", Revelation 13:5. All of us have seen men, who have come and gone, who proclaimed themselves to be Jesus Christ and many have tried to look like the depictions in movies and paintings. Matthew 24:5 informed all of us this would happen: "For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many."

We learn from the Scriptures, that the Antichrist and False Prophet are the first two that are cast into the Lake of Fire after the Tribulation Period but before the 1000 Year Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ The rest of humanity, the Nephilim and the Fallen Angels, Lucifer are cast into the Lake Of Fire after the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ when Jesus Christ judges at the Great White Throne of Judgment.
